Have you always had an alternative approach to lifestyle, relationship, or spirituality, and wondered if you’d ever find a therapist who’d “get” you? I am here to meet you where you’re at, and with your help, collaboratively design a therapeutic path to help address your concerns. I will highlight your strengths and offer alternative perspectives rooted in theory and research-based treatment methods. Together we will rewrite your story and uncover the strength you need to become the you you’ve always wanted to be.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Canadian Counsellor, and work with adults, adolescents, seniors, and couples. I am certified in Distance Counselling and hold an MA in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a BAH in Psychology and Religious Studies from Queen’s University, a social justice-oriented MSc from the University of Strathclyde in Human Ecology, and have eight years’ experience working in the field of mental health.

I take a client centred, attachment-based, holistic approach to psychotherapy and use treatment modalities such as mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, art in Narrative Therapy, CBT, and ACT with multicultural competence and a trauma-lens. I focus heavily on cultivating a safe, authentic, and trusting connection with my clients and highlight client strengths to offer alternative perspectives rooted in positive psychology to help guide clients to find the strength to be the version of themselves they’ve always wanted to become. I have worked primarily with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, grief, anger, and complex trauma and proudly support the LGBTQI+ community and an anti-oppressive approach to psychotherapy.
